Why do credit scores differ from one credit bureau to another? What's the easiest way to improve your FICO Score?

My score from one agency is okay, but my FICO score is pretty low by comparison.

Many people are surprised to learn that they actually have more than one credit score, and the different scores are looked at by different types of lenders. The free Give Yourself Credit eBook does a great job of explaining some facts about credit, including tips to improve your score.

If you also sign up for Credit Manager by MoneyTips you can view your full credit report, not just your score, and see what items are affecting your score that you could resolve. The Premium Membership features offer some nice perks to help you communicate with creditors and correct any errors you find.
