There is no best answer for this question without knowing your objective. Unfortunately, most people concentrate on "how" to get there, without know where they want to go. My best advice is to find an independent agent that can help you to define your objective and then show you the various way of meeting your aim. Once you define your need, the discussion can turn to health issues if any as well as your ability to pay premiums.

The question is sort of difficult to answer because of the word "guaranteed". Do you mean guaranteed issue, guaranteed premium, guaranteed renewable or something else?
If you mean guaranteed issue that means few if any health questions are asked or tests done. Rates are usually higher and usually face amounts are smaller.
Guaranteed premium means your costs are locked in for the life of the policy and can't be raised.
Guaranteed renewable means your policy can't be cancelled on you outside of failure to pay premiums.
Hope this helps.
