What do I do if the only thing that is on my credit report is old hospital bills?

I actually had insurance at the time, which should have paid the majority of them.

Did your health insurance cover all the hospital bills? If not, did you pay off the rest of the bills? Any debts that are in collection will remain on your credit report for seven years from the original date they became delinquent. Contact the creditors to arrange a payment plan for those debts and help your credit recover.
If all the bills were paid on time and you don't believe they should be on your credit report, contact the credit bureau TransUnion at 800-916-8800 or on its website to notify it that the information is incorrect.
