We got a divorce and I think I am still the beneficiary on my husband's policy. If he dies, do I still get the money?

The short answer is "yes" you do. The owner of the plan is the person paying for it, and that person has control over the beneficiary designation. If he has not changed it, then you are still the beneficiary. It happens all the time, and you can bet that there is a great deal of surprise among all parties when the check is cut! Another good reason (from his perspective) for an annual review.
