There's a credit card on my report that I don't recognize. What should I do?

You must notify the creditor and close any fraudulent accounts opened in your name. Your next step should be to place a fraud alert on your credit reports by contacting one of the three major credit reporting agencies (Equifax, Experian, or TransUnion), and it will notify the other two credit reporting agencies.
