I have owned three homes and had seven or eight car loans over the course of time, none of which are showing up on my credit report except for my current auto loan. Why?

When a credit line closes due to the sale of the asset or the maturity of the loan, the account will no longer show up as an active account on your credit report. Over time the terminated account will "fall off" your credit report.
