I am a disabled veteran and just had my student loans forgiven. How will it affect my credit score?

If the loans were in good standing prior to the discharge, then it shouldn't impact your credit score negatively. However, if your loans were not in good standing, your score could drop as a result of the missed payments. The negative information can stay on your credit report for up to seven years and the lender isn't required to remove it.
