Alec, you would start by contacting various credit card companies ones that offer a secured credit card this type of card requires you to deposit say, $500 and this would be your credit limit so to speak. if you charge something and pay it off on time you will start to build credit and depending upon other financial factors you may be able to get a true credit card in about a year or year and half.
