Yes, if you are under full retirement age which depends on the year you were born. For 2015 Under Full Retirement Age (FRA) $1 of benefits withheld every $2 in earnings above the limit of $15,720/year.

The year you reach full retirement age- $1 of benefits withheld every $3 in earnings above the limit of
$ 41,880/year.

After full full retirement age- no benefits withheld no matter how much you make.
