3. 21% of Father's Day deals in 2014 were for electronics/gadgets. 20% of consumers are expected to buy electronics for Father's Day in 2016, amounting to a total of $1.7 billion.

4. About 20% of Father's Day cards are bought for husbands.

5. Father's Day ranks 6th in overall holiday spending, behind Winter Holidays, Back to School, Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, and Easter.
